Determination of brain death/death by neurologic criteria in patients treated with targeted temperature management

چکیده
体温管理療法(targeted temperature management, TTM)を施行した場合の脳死/神経学的基準による死(brain death/death by neurologic criteria, BD/DNC)の判定においては,低体温が一時的に脳幹反射を鈍らせる可能性があること,およびTTMで使用した薬物代謝が低体温により遅延することが影響する可能性に注意する必要がある。BD/DNCの判定は,36℃以上に復温完了してから少なくとも24時間以上経過してから行う。また,鎮静薬を投与していた場合には,投与終了後から投与した薬物の半減期の少なくとも5倍の期間は待つことが必要である。
